54:1 Gearbox and Coreless Motor for 16.5mm Gauge Agenoria Narrow Gauge locos
These two compact drives have been designed to provide a modern motorising set up for our range of Agenoria Narrow Gauge kits. That said, they will have applications in many small locos and other motorising projects.
The two kits feature a double shaft coreless motor & flywheel driving 54:1 ratio gears. The worm and two stage gear are a slippery plastic, whilst the final drive gear is brass. The final drive gear will need locking to the axle with a locking compound such as Loctite 501. Designed to be sandwiched between the frames of the Agenoria locos and locked in place by the top hat brass bushes, they come with the printed frame in two thicknesses. 11.4mm wide for 0-16.5 locos and 9.4mm wide for O14 engines. These are designed for use with 1/8″ axles.
