A lifelong modeller my hobby turned into a business some 20+ years ago run as an aside to a full time engineering job in the rail industry. Since 2007 it\u2019s been my full time job.<\/p>\n

My modelling interests are quite varied. It\u2019s probably fair to say that I\u2019ve messed with too many different scales. My current modelling reflects a long interest in American Narrow Gauge Models and UK Industrial Narrow Gauge. I have an 0n3 layout for my American geared loco collection, the start of an 0-14 layout for my UK narrow gauge and a garden railway so I can play with live steam models<\/p>\n

\"Harry<\/a>Away from the models I am involved with the Ffestiniog Railway & Beamish Museum. I am a driver on the Ffestiniog Railway and have been heavily involved with the repair and restoration of two of the railway\u2019s locomotives, Merddin Emrys and Blanche. At Beamish I am part of a group known as BINGE, Beamish Industrial Narrow Gauge Engineers, who restore and build narrow gauge railway items and run the narrow gauge and standard gauge railways in the colliery at the museum.<\/p>\n
