PW70 Porthole Observation Car






Festiniog Railway “Porthole” Observation car Small Birmingham’ or `Bug Box’. Body built around a PW7 type around the late 19th century, at the time fully glazed, hence the end vents but later open. An example runs in the Festiniog Railway Heritage train.

This is a complete kit except for couplings, glue and paint. The kit is 7mm Scale (1:43.5) and is made principally of cast resin with other material supplied as appropriate. The kit contains wheels and bearings.
