Ashover (Planet 3307)

These pictures were taken on Monday 2nd July as the loco was unloaded at the NRM.  It arrived as a back load on the trailer returning stock to the Festiniog Railway post Railfest. The lorry had taken coach 15 to Minffordd, collected Ashover and returned to the NRM to collect the Curly Roof Van.

The loco will be repaired and overhauled whilst on the well wagon so that it remains mobile. It is temporarily stored outside until a sequence of other moves result in it moving indoors to the back of the diesel depot.

The photo's below were all taken by Paul Martin during the unloading. Click on the thumbnails for the full size image. Please feel free to use them to illustrate news items. Please credit Paul Martin as the photographer.

Later the same day

The Curly Roof Van was loaded on the the trailer to return to Wales.
